How to play
Each day has five maps of the United States, 20 seconds each. Read the question, tap the state you think is the answer, then lock in before the time runs out. A state you tapped but did not lock in goes in when the time runs out.
A map scores up to 100: 100 for the top state, 85 for second, 70 for third, 55 for fourth and fifth, 35 down to tenth and 15 down to twentieth. States that show the same figure share the better place.
Every map is a real figure from a US government source, named with its year. Washington, D.C. sits out, since it is a city. Weather maps cover the lower 48, so Alaska and Hawaii sit out too.
Your score counts for your home state on today's board.
One puzzle a day, the same for everyone, new at midnight Eastern. Past days stay in the archive for practice.
